Nestled between mountains and ocean, the Suzanne’s & Jenny’s store in the Comox Valley—serving Courtenay, Comox, and Cumberland—is rooted in a place where creativity, natural beauty, and laid-back charm go hand in hand.

Store Manager Sara, who’s lived in the community for five years, leads a dedicated team:

• Jackie , with 2.5 years of experience,
• Chris, 1.5 years with the company, and
• Tracey, who joined 8 months ago.

Together, they’ve built more than a team—they’ve created a space where women feel seen, celebrated, and at home.

They know many of their regulars by name—customers who pop in on their way to pick up groceries or simply stop by to check what’s new and catch up with familiar faces. One such regular is Maureen, 87 years old and full of energy, who loves to dance. The team always finds her outfits that are fun, flirty, and perfect for her nights on the town.

Then there are the moments that linger, like helping a woman who was feeling down about her body find the perfect birthday outfit.

“She said, ‘Wow, I actually feel beautiful.’ We both got a little emotional,” Sara recalls.

“It’s not just about clothes—it’s about confidence, expression, and helping people see the beauty they already have.”

Beyond the boutique, the Comox Valley team makes a difference in the community. Over the holidays, they supported the Comox Valley Transition Society, donating food and essential items to women seeking safety. They recently participated in a fashion show with the Newcomers Alumnae Association, a joyful and welcoming event that introduced the store to many new customers.
